story
There are lots of great places to sled in Ann Arbor. When we go back in February, I hope to introduce my Southern California toddler to the joys of sliding on snow. Here's the rundown:
Wurster Park: short, gentle hills. Usually not crowded.
Veteran's Park: Big hill, fast. Can be a popular spot. Watch out for obstacles!
Slauson Jr. High School: decent hill. Nice neighborhood environment.
Huron Hills Golf Course: LONG hill...lots of walking. Not sure if sledding is permitted, but we always had a blast here growing up.
The Arb: lots of college kids. Beautiful environment. Parking can be tough and the hills can be bumpy.
