Awesome View

I think this is the most amazing thing about this town. You can drive to the top of the mountain, and see the WHOLE WORLD as my daughter likes to say on our family roadtrips. The website will show that there are groups at work to preserve this landmark, and it is open FRIDAY to SUNDAY 12PM to 4PM. Everything is FREE!!!

Ride your bike and fly a kite

Always clean, well kept, fun! There are lots of things to do here, paths for bike rides and open fields for kite flying. They even have bathrooms, which is always important for a day at the park.

Moonbounce for all AGES

This place is great, an indoor bounce place, even DAD can do! The open jump session was almost like a private party, there was only three other families there, and we were the only ones jumping around for the first 45 minutes or so. I was exhausted, eh???? But in the summer I can't go on these kinds of rides with my KID, so it was nice to chase her a round the place. The website has pictures - - so be sure to check it out.

They had PIZZA and SODA, plus some video games, but the real fun is the MOON BOUNCES and GIANT SLIDES.

It's a KINGDOM for KIDS!!!!

Fun for little ones - - I would say safe enough for any toddler, lots of rides and shows. Storytime was real nice, and the water park is a lot of fun in the Summertime. The WINTER WONDERLAND - only has limited rides open, but definetly fun, and much cheaper. The park is also close enough that if you show up the nigh before, and buy your tickets for the next day - - they let you in FREE for the rest of the night, last summer the sale worked liked THIS:

When the Park closes at 6:00 PM: Enter after 3:00 PM
When the Park closes at 7:00 PM: Enter after 4:00 PM
When the Park closes at 8:30 PM: Enter after 5:30 PM

A good way to plan for the next day.

****Also, the Rockland Outlet Mall is across the STREET for MOM if she wants to get some shopping done.

Strasburg Railroad

What fun, a real train ride! The website reall explains a lot.

But we went up here to get our Halloween Pumpkins, and see the Corn Maze that is a few miles down the road (the train will stop there a long the way) you have to go in the Autumn, but they run special trains all year round.

A bit expensive, but if your kid loves trains it is worth seeing.
