The University campus is open, has lots of big palm trees, Saguaro, and scuptures and such for kids to see. The Fels Planetarium is a fun activity, at night they operate a telescope, and they also do planetarium shows. You can visit the Arizona Football and Basketball stadiums, both of which are quite impressive; as well as the museums and student art exhibits. We had a fun day there. Parking is inexpensive, as is admission to the Fels, and food is cheap and plentiful in the Student Union (amazing how similar College Students' and kindergarteners' tastes are...).

Sounds wonderful! We're hoping to make it out to Arizona this winter, and we'll definitely stop by!

Thanks for posting.
